The summer before her senior year of high school, Clarissa prayed to God and asked for a year that she would never forget. He was faithful to answer. The following December, Clarissa was diagnosed with a brain tumor. On the night that she received the results of her brain scan, she collapsed on her bedroom floor and cried out to the Lord. He met her there in the darkness, promising Clarissa that she was not alone. Through these trials, God has shown Clarissa how to suffer well. She now finds comfort in relying on Him daily to provide her every need.
